With a deep reservoir of expertise and knowledge, he plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and supporting product development teams, ensuring the seamless integration of technological advancements.
Mr. Wood brings extensive management experience, with a proven track record of protecting, licensing, and commercializing intellectual property, positioning him as a strategic asset to any organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Applied Science in Materials Science (Composites) from the University of British Columbia. His technical background is complemented by diverse experience across both government R&D and private industry, earning him widespread respect within the composites community.
Geoffrey is the founder of Profile Composites Inc., a company that garnered significant recognition by winning the prestigious JEC Award for Most Innovative Composites in both the aerospace and transportation categories—testament to his entrepreneurial acumen and technical excellence. His diverse career is further enriched by time spent in the family construction business in Trinidad, West Indies, where he gained invaluable insights into social dynamics and business practices, particularly in underrepresented populations. This unique experience has equipped him with a profound understanding of global markets and cultural nuances. An inventor at heart, Mr. Wood is the holder of four U.S. patents, further solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking innovator.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Geoffrey is passionate about architecture, design, and outdoor activities. He enjoys paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, and anything that connects him to the water, reflecting his well-rounded character and deep appreciation for both creative and physical challenges. Geoffrey and his wife share a profound love for their dogs, finding joy and companionship in their loyal and energetic pets.
